Monsour Legal Advisory
Christopher Monsour is a former multinational Vice President and General Counsel with more than two decades of experience advising CEOs, boards and executive teams across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
Throughout his career, he has operated at the intersection of strategy, governance and commercial execution. He has led high-performing legal and commercial teams, structured and negotiated complex cross-border transactions, supported significant merger activity and advised on regulatory risk, enterprise governance and executive decision-making in dynamic international environments.
His experience spans global corporates, government and growth-stage organisations. He has worked closely with executive leadership during periods of expansion, restructuring and strategic inflection, ensuring legal frameworks support commercial ambition rather than constrain it.
In parallel with his corporate career, Christopher has served for over three decades as an officer in the Australian Army Reserve, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has commanded regimental units, overseen large-scale training and operational programs and served in a NATO deployment as Chief of Operations in Baghdad. This experience informs his advisory style: disciplined, calm under pressure and focused on leadership accountability.
Today, Christopher operates as a fractional General Counsel and strategic advisor, working directly with founders, CEOs and boards. His focus is simple: align legal strategy with commercial strategy, strengthen governance and enable sustainable, structured growth.
He works with a limited number of organisations to ensure direct access and focused advisory support.
